There is a Mule Operator within the game, this is a communal storage that you can share items from one character to another. There is an achievement to unlock all of the skills for all 5 characters so it is important that you collect everything to speed this up. There are a large number of Neuromods scattered around the Moonbase, also make sure you pick up everything you can and recycle it to help with crafting more Neuromods. Once you hit 50,000 Sim points, do not go under this but feel free to spend anything in excess of 50,000. You will need to accrue 50,000 Sim points over the course of the DLC to unlock an achievement. Through the DLC you will earn Sim points and these are your currency to purchase gear and special abilities, this is essential to keeping the corruption level lower. As you go through corruption levels the game will be increasingly harder, enemies that you have killed will respawn and once you hit the top level the simulation will reset. The best way to destroy them is to use nearby explosive items and get it to suck them up.Īs time goes by you will find something called the corruption level, this increases slowly from level 1 - 5. The Corrupted Harvesters can be tough to kill as they are armoured and use a vacuum to try and recycle you. You will not unlock the Bounty objectives until you have unlocked the 2nd playable character.Īs you play through the DLC, you will find all of the same enemies from the main game however, there are two new additions - The Moonshark and Corrupted Harvesters. These are optional, however are beneficial to do and you can also view these on your Transcribe. Use your Transcribe to view the KASMA orders, you will also have Bounty objectives. You will play this game with objectives called KASMA orders, it is important that you do not complete all of these until everything else in the DLC is completed as once they are all done the simulation will be completed. The aim of the DLC is to unlock all 5 playable characters, finish their individual story objectives, use every escape route at least once and finally escape with all 5 characters in one run. Like in the main game, nearly all of the items are randomized and no 2 playthroughs will be the same. Mooncrash is a simulation based in a new area, the Pytheas Moonbase. He is the only character in Prey (2017) to make an appearance, but be completely mute and not have audio logs.Firstly I need to thank gamer psybOltOn, he kindly helped with the roadmap for this part of the Walkthrough.Peter is the only character in Prey (2017) and Mooncrash to have visible tattoos.Surviving the crash, Peter makes his way to the base, and boards a rocket heading for Earth, not knowing he brought a Mimic with him disguised as his daughter's doll. Overriding the pod's controls, he crashes it near Pytheas Moon Base. He then takes Claire Whitten's Kasma operations key left in the Operator. Before Peter can suffocate, however, he puts on the spacesuit prepared by Basilisk for him. She remarks that the expense of retrieving him from his pod is not worth it, but plans on honoring her contract and sending the pay he was promised to his family. Here, it is revealed that Teddy considers both Peter and Basilisk expendable, and that Basilisk isn't pleased with either her or Peter's situation.Īfter Peter completes all of Kasma's orders, Teddy contacts him directly. Peter then overhears a conversation between Basilisk, his handler, and Teddy, a Kasma executive. When his pod is damaged, he must repair it. He plugs it in and runs a simulation of the Pytheas facility as seen through the eyes of five different employees of the station. His current mission is in space, where he receives a destroyed, dormant Operator. He is sent a slideshow of his family by Kasma, which includes his daughter and an adult woman, possibly his wife who appears to be an avid gardener, he seems to care deeply for his family especially his daughter as he keeps a toy of hers as a memento. Peter has at least one daughter who goes to school. Although it is implied that he took a Contract from Kasma because his family needed the money, due to his contract as a hacker he is likely to have a background with computing or other science and may also have been a hacker before the contract and was often sent to prison resulting in him having to be bailed out by Kasma in exchange for spying on TranStar which they would reward with his family's debts being paid off. It is unclear if Peter is an employee of Kasma or merely contracted by them.
